I am Jon and I’m from the Atlanta area (Georgia, USA). I primarily model the C&O in WV, early 1950s transition era in N scale. My layout is about 16×16 feet (about 5m by 5m) plus a branch line yet to be built. Attached is an approximate track plan, topographical map of the prototype location, and a few photos of my glacial progress.

Nice to see a fellow native of Georgia on here! I’m originally from Gainesville myself.

Also nice shots of your layout. I look forward to seeing the progress.

@ravenhawk6910 I would say I am a North Carolina native, but have lived here in Georgia for about 17 years. 😁

A few more photos… I have built the benchwork in pieces out in my workshop, then moved it a piece at a time into the basement. It is built with integral backdrop and lighting valance. I use LED strips with DMX drivers and QLC+ on a Raspberry Pi as controller. I use JMRI for layout control and small touch screens for operator turnout controls.

Rare site to see so.etho g that big in Australia. Always envious how much room you Americans have to build dream layouts

@Shazz I’m aware how lucky we are but this is not so big for here. I know many people with layouts much larger than this.
