Several shots of me building a concentric helix with splines of masonite.
I wanted a smooth climb that I can pull longer trains. This helix only requires the track to pass under itself once, at the bottom. I will have 4 occupancy detectors to show location of trains traveling through this helix with LEDs.Loops: 6

Howdy. I’m currently working on my 3rd layout. It’s a freelanced 14’x14′ N-scale layout in my barn.
The Echo Lake and Maltby RR (ELMRR) is a fantasy line running somewhere on the map between Everett, Monroe, Seattle and Renton. Mostly modern BNSF, but a smattering of CPR and BCR run through.
