Earlier this summer the Sacramento Modular Railroaders had the privilege to set up at the California State Railroad Museum. On set up day we found that we were too close to the Dayton. No problem! The museum kindly moved it back a few feet for us. Easy peasy.

A few doors up from work is the railway crossing. Here’s a shuttle steam excursion that ran up and down the line a few times couple years back. 2 K Class Locomotoves. Used for general service back in the day. And FYI. Most of the suburban system in Melbourne is broad-gauge.

Various shots of my collection of Canadian Pacific steam locomotives in HO.
Many are modern runs from Rapido and are equipped with DCC and ESU Loksound, others are brass models dating back to the 1970’s with the oldest being a late 1960’s release.
